Monday March 5 I had the oil changed, put in a new air filter, topped off the brake fluid, installed brand new windshield wipers and washer fluid, less than 6 months ago had the windows tinted all around the car I have a lifetime warrenty for, the photos shown are not current. the car has had major improvements since these were taken. The car has a dark cloth interior clean, non smokers car. This car is very dependable and reliable. Details: I´m selling my automatic transmission 2003 ES Mitsubishi Lancer. It has 71,800 miles, and has only had 2 real owners. Its very sentimental to me and my family, so I´m looking for someone who´s actually going to fix it up, and drive it, other than just use it for parts. My dad bought it in September 2003 from a dealer. It apparently served as a rent-a-car, before him. He passed away in 2006, and I inherited the car afterwords. Its never been in any kind of large or small accident. There are multiple things wrong with the car, but nothing ´deal breaking´ for those of you who might know your way around cars. Keep in mind, I am in no way anything of a mechanic. The problems I found may be able to be fixed at little or no cost. This was my first car, and I had no idea it needed anything more than Oil and gas. When I drove it, it seemed to kick while shifting, so I´m guessing there might be something wrong with the transmission.The blinkers and high-beams stopped working randomly. It could be a spark plug, or the steering column may be in need of a replacement. the alternator belt snapped off and I havent replaced it. (I´ve actually replaced it before, and over-tightened it, so I´m guessing thats why it snapped). the belt itself was like 7 bucks. the temperature knob on the AC broke off. The little white nub thats left, can be turned with pliers. As far as I know, its relatively cheap to fix. My dad put bumper stickers on the back of the car while he had it. I added a few. Apparently wd40 will help get them off with little cost to the paint. Its not running at the moment, so if you are interested in buying it, you´ll need a trailer or some way of moving it. Title in hand, ready to go. I´m asking 3,500 (OBO but use your best judgement when undercutting. I´ve already been offered 28hundred, so don´t bother.) because of it sentimental value to me and my family. It means a lot to me, that whoever buys is doesnt just take it apart for parts. Also, I´ve seen older lancers with twice the mileage going for 5 grand, so I figure it´d have to be worth someones while.CASH ONLY.
