Details: Here I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant GTZ 4-speed automatic FWD with keyless entry. It is a high-end Mitsubishi mid-size sedan with a powerful 3.0L V6; it has 198,xxx miles on it. GTZ´s are the second-highest level of Galants produced by Mitsubishi in the 8th generation. It is a very reliable car, very fast, and very fun. Being a student, I cannot put much money into it, but I have tinted the windows, replaced the headlight assemblies, and the stock air intake box with an Injen short ram intake. It has been well-maintained by a family of gearheads. Transmission works fine, engine runs well, no issues except the occasional rough shift or a clicking from the engine when started in the cold (like it has been the past couple days). I replaced the neutral safety switch, the battery, and the starter (about $400 in fixes), so it runs well now. The oil was changed on 12/22/2011 along with the tires rotated.Issues: the paint on the car is severely in need of a paint job, but I hope to be getting it painted soon. However, as I mentioned, I am a student and cannot put much money into it. The only other issue is that the sound system is almost completely blown, as it was when I bought the car. I have tried to find some good replacement speakers, but other expenses keep popping up. The interior is a 6/10. The all leather needs some work. There is a CEL for the O2 sensor. The reason I am selling this car is simple: college. I have a lot of bills to pay; tuition and textbooks are expensive these days. However, I love this car and have taken as much care of it as I possibly could. It holds it own in a race or if you simply need to get to work/school and back. The latter gives a good 24 mpg in city.
