The car is in excellent driving shape. I would drive this car anywhere! 133,000 miles which is pretty low considering its year.. Overall its a really sporty little car and very cheap on gas. It also has an after market CD player and a beast sound system. It has a 300 watt Amp and three 500 watt legacy speakers in a Mitsubishi box.. The Mitsubishi logo lights up every time the bass hits. It hits super hard! It also has an after market American Racing exhaust.. the car sounds mean. I´m probably leaving out a lot.And for the bad..Could use a paint job if youre serious about fixing it up.. The drivers side door has a really small dent because someone backed into my parked car and the front bumper has a couple cracked spots in it but other then that no problems. This car is really fun to drive and gets a lot of looks. The turbo is in perfect working condition, spools fast and runs GREAT! I had the transmission replaced about 1,000 miles ago and it shifts smoothly. I also replaced the alternator, and oxygen sensor recently. The interior of the Eclipse has been completely redone with brand new carpet and headliner, black leather seats look extremely sharp. (1997 as well as most other 97-99 Eclipse came with two tone color interior only, so black on black is extremely RARE.) The Eclipse originally had black and tan interior. The damage is on the front passenger side (air bags were not deployed). The parts you will need are a hood, a fender and a headlight. I already have the headlights so you won´t need to buy those.
