Details: Am putting this post up for my sister..She owns a black 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse manual transmission. It looks and drives sporty. No problems whatsoever and the car runs great. It´s a girl´s car so you can imagine that she doesn´t race and she takes care of it like it´s her baby. It has 151k miles and counting, the timing belt cut a year ago and she had to change the whole engine including the water pump so as far as the engine goes i can promise you that it will last you another 100k miles or more. Only fault with it is a few discoloration on the hood and on the roof...she´s had both doors and the bumper newly painted. PS: drive tests are limited to people with no difficulty driving a stick shift. We don´t want you messing up the clutch on a test drive. We bought her an Acura so now this has to go.This is the GT model and is loaded! The exterior of the car is nearly flawless and the interior isn´t too bad either. There is a stain from our neice in the back seat, but other than that, it´s nice! The color of the car is called ´pearl white´ but it´s more of a silver.We´ve kept up on all the maintenance. We´ve replaced the rims and tires last year. The tires are a year old and all have extended warranty. We replaced the Catalytic Converter and Timing Belt at 79K miles. Power windows, locks, powered sunroof, cd player, GREAT heat and AC. I had an Audi TT and this car BLEW that car out of the water!
